Who is it to say that nerds are just the cast away kids with the crushes on the girls they wont ever get and carry peoples books so they don’t get pushed around as easy. Well no! Not anymore, some great men here in Portland, OR have decided to make a website dedicated to everything nerdy. Now, wait, listen don’t go drifting away from reading because im going to talk to you about promotion for NERDS. Now listen, im gonna take you into the Death Star and then right back to Endor so stick with me here. Okay, now I never thought of it this way but, I guess being a nerd can be talked about as anything. Take me, I am a nerd, I love music and technology, think about it, im a nerd for those two things right there, if I can sit down and be excited about an genre change or maybe a new integrated graphics card. Im a nerd for that stuff, im screaming for the xbox update where last.fm, twitter, and facebook. Anyways, so listen, im a nerd for those things.. if you love sports, if you can tell me the what cost some team a loss at the super bowl in a certain year.. Sorry, you’re a sports nerd.. Hey, so come to think of it, you can be a nerd about just about anything in life you’re passionate about. Now, this site is just getting started. Keep in mind the forums are just starting to kick in and they already got an Interview with John Cleese.. Think about it.. Fucking, Monty Python! Two weeks, pop that under your resume and you’re golden, people are competing.. Their running to get an interview with two coconuts. Now I have dreams going for this site, because it’s more than a site, it’s something you can just get excited to watch, podcasts, interviews, skits, outtakes, drunken singing. All is grand I promise you.
